Apply on the feet
The best application is directly to all muscles on the back of the neck. It may also be applied over the heart and Vita Flex points.

I have used this mixed with Epsom salts and Ortho Ease™ massage oil for a foot bath. The sensation is wonderful. Apply Lemongrass; when combined with marjoram, it helps stimulate the agents in the tissue to rejuvenate and reconnect. Marjoram is a powerful muscle relaxant; relaxing and soothing to cartilage. Clary Sage helps balance hormones.

Breathing deeply may strengthen the respiratory system.

You can reduce tension and nervousness within minutes. This blend has the ability to calm and relieve spastic muscles. The peppermint oil is used for damaged tissue. Peppermint enhances the effect of the other oils; high in natural menthol.

1. Palo Santo
can help induce relaxation and reduce occasional nervous tension.

2. Palmarosa:

Palmarosa essential oil (like rose oil) centers, supports, and softens the Heart and Mind (Shen). This oil is very relaxing and calming.

3. Cedarwood:

To alleviate nervous tension and stress-related disorders, use 2-3 drops in a diffuser.
It can also be used in some ceremonies for purification.

Any client, patient or massage therapist that uses lesser quality oils always notes the difference after they try pure therapeutic oils. It has been discovered that sandalwood and frankincense aid occasional stress. Depend on your body


Self-administer acupressure. Unlike acupuncture, which involves needles to stimulate pressure points along meridians, or energy channels, acupressure is applied by the hands. Take slow, deep breaths. Think of each breath as the Source. If I am feeling more flexible in my life choices my connection to my body is an approach that works on its own. The Hippocrates philosophy maintains that the body is always capable of healing itself…given proper (raw food) nourishment, a positive mental attitude, and adequate exercise. Acupuncture is safe only when performed by a qualified practitioner.

Apply firm pressure with your right thumb on the inside of your left forearm three finger-widths from the center of your wrist for nausea. Gently press underneath both cheekbones, angling your index fingers upward for sinus pain. For foot cramps or headaches I have bare feet and use my right heel to rub in between the bones of my left foot for one minute. Make sure to stimulate sensitive spots on the top of your foot and switch to work on the other foot.

All animals-including the human species-tend to instinctively grab or rub a hurt in order to ease the pain. I have just a few more suggestions for you to keep your body looking and feeling young and activate your mind.

  1. The ideal time for exercise is in the morning.
  2. Avoid television, especially news, right before bed and try a relaxing massage or warm bath.
  3. Release emotions such as anger, resentment, hostility, and guilt.
  4. Say out loud: “I’m going to take care of these negative emotions, they become toxic and I must take responsibility for my emotions, they are accelerating my aging process.”
  5. Think of how your experiences first triggered the emotion and define it. Also write it down using that situation of victimization to express your authentic emotions: “I was outraged because………”
  6. Release and Celebrate. Burn that piece of paper. Play music and do some yoga or deep breathing. Say, “I Let IT GO.”

I decided to do a little research about what essential oils are put into perfumes, soaps and hair care products. Some projects I’ve worked on have shown me that an Egyptian queen in 1500 B. C. used myrrh and Cleopatra used rose.  A hairspray bottle included White Ginger in its ingredients. Is it put into it to volumize my hair? I think some hairsprays use organically grown botanicals but I got curious what other plant extracts were being put into our bathroom supplies.
